Leaked memo reveals OnePlus asked its employees to not respond to any OS-related questions Posted: 19 Jun 2021 09:50 AM PDT A few days ago, OnePlus CEO Mr. Pete Lau announced the company's decision to "further integrate" with Oppo to "be more efficient" and bring "faster and more stable software updates" for its users. And even though Mr. Lau said that OnePlus "will continue to operate independently", there are still some unanswered questions, one of them revolving around the use of custom skin on the company's smartphones. Global versions of OnePlus smartphones run OxygenOS, while the Chinese models ran HydrogenOS before it was replaced by Oppo's ColorOS. Thus, OnePlus customers were concerned if OxygenOS will... |

However, that didn't happen, and months later, there's still no word from vivo about its first tablet. But it looks the company will soon enter the tablet category since a vivo device, believed to be a tablet, bagged TUV certification earlier this month, and now the vivo Pad name has been trademarked with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The vivo Pad is trademarked under Class 9, which covers several product categories, including tablet... |

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G seems to be a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G Posted: 18 Jun 2021 06:58 PM PDT Samsung's Galaxy F42 5G first surfaced last month when it received its Wi-Fi certification, and today it's back again, this time with the Bluetooth certification. This signifies that it's getting closer to launch. The weird thing is that the certification for the Galaxy F42 5G is shared with the one for the recently unveiled Galaxy A22 5G, and this strongly hints at the fact that the F42 5G may be nothing but a rebranded version of the A22 5G. It wouldn't be the first time Samsung did something like this with the F series rebranding products from the A series, in fact it's been pretty much... |

Yahoo Mobile shuts down, users must switch to Visible Posted: 18 Jun 2021 11:29 AM PDT Yahoo Mobile is an MNVO (mobile network virtual operator) that sold mobile services backed by Verizon's network. Last month, Verizon announced it would sell its media group, which included AOL and Yahoo website properties and brands. As a result of the sale, the Yahoo Mobile network is being shut down. The network was not particularly a popular one and the device selection was quite slim.
