Xiaomi teases the Mi 11 Ultra with revolutionary cooling design Posted: 27 Mar 2021 03:00 AM PDT The Xiaomi MI 11 Ultra has been all the fuss lately and we are not surprised. Riding on the back of last year's Mi 10 Ultra's success, which wasn't even launched officially outside of China, the Mi 11 Ultra is expected to deliver top-notch performance and features. And it seems that the cooling system is one of them. In a new Weibo post, the company's co-founder offered a sneak peek of what the new cooling design is all about. Unfortunately, the Google translation is a bit rough around the edges but we got the gist of it. It's something along the lines of "full phase cooling tech" and... |

Moto G 5G Plus is now being updated to Android 11 too Posted: 26 Mar 2021 09:03 PM PDT Motorola has recently started to take updates to Android 11 more seriously than before, and has already released builds for the Moto G Pro, Moto G8 and G8 Power, as well as the Moto Edge devices. Now it's time for the Moto G 5G Plus to get the same treatment. The smartphone launched last summer is now receiving the update to the latest version of Android in Brazil, one of Motorola's most important markets. The new software arrives over-the-air as build RPN31.Q4U-39-27-5, and it incorporates the February 2021 security patches (someone hand Moto a calendar!). It's a 1GB download, and... |
Oppo Find X2 Lite follows the Find X2 Neo in receiving Android 11 update in Europe Posted: 26 Mar 2021 06:47 PM PDT Oppo's Find X2 Lite from last year is now being graced with an update to Android 11, with the Chinese company's own ColorOS 11.1 on top. The update is rolling out in Germany, and it should make its way across Europe in the coming days and weeks. It arrives as build CPH2005_11_C.76 and brings with it all the goodies that Google's packed into the latest version of Android, along with ColorOS' trademark smoothness (in version 11, that's the name of the game). As usual the update may be going out in stages, so it could take a while before it reaches all units in Europe. This update... |
Unlocked OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will support Verizon 5G Posted: 26 Mar 2021 03:44 PM PDT Although Verizon is not going to carry the newly announced OnePlus 9 devices, one of its representatives has just confirmed via Twitter that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro is certified to work on the wireless carrier. I'm psyched to announce that the @OnePlus 9 Pro & OnePlus 9 have been certified to work on @Verizon & @Visible. That means you can buy it from your fav retailer and know that it will work great on Verizon 5G. Apple rumored to be working on rugged Apple Watch Posted: 26 Mar 2021 11:07 AM PDT So far Apple has offered several distinct versions of its Apple Watch. There are the regular aluminum or stainless steel versions and the Watch Edition and Hermes models with their more premium watch casings and straps. There's also a Nike Edition which features an aluminum casing and perforated rubber sports band though it does not offer any added durability. According to a new report from Bloomberg from earlier today, Apple considers building a ruggedized Apple Watch and bring it later in 2021 or early 2022. Based on the report, the rugged Apple Watch will have a more durable design... |
Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate in for review Posted: 26 Mar 2021 09:33 AM PDT We already brought you our ROG Phone 5 detailed review but we also happened to receive a maxed-out ROG Phone 5 Ultimate with a ludicrous 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. This calls for a quick hands-on treatment to see just how different the two editions are and more importantly what the Ultimate edition has going for it. For starters the core specs remain unchanged – a 6.78" AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 and a 6,000 mAh battery with 65W charging. What you do get on the Ultimate edition is a ROG Vision monochrome PMOLED display on the back which can display... |

This upcoming version will arrive on March 31 and it will be the final beta. Today the company announced that a stable release is coming in April and that the foldable Mate X2 will be the first phone to receive it as an update. The phone launched with Android 10, but it will soon jump ship. And many other devices are expected to follow it. The Huawei P50 phones were supposed to be the first to run Harmony out of the box. Though it was never officially confirmed, the new... |
