Flashback: A decade of Samsung Galaxy S camera tech Posted: 04 Jun 2022 07:11 PM PDT The Samsung Galaxy S III was released in May 2012 – ten years ago. Since there is a lot to cover, we thought we should keep it simple and focus on the camera today. The third generation S-phone arrived with a single 8MP camera on its back and one 1.9MP selfie camera on the front. This was before the days of multi-camera setups, OIS and so on. In fact, OIS wouldn't appear until 2015 and the Galaxy S6. Then in 2018 the Galaxy S9+ brought the first telephoto lens to the series, the... |

Motorola Moto g GO renders Since the image is a controls layout tour of sorts, a few specs are listed right on it. We can see some thick bezels and a particularly wide chin from the front with what is described as a "multi-touch display". Most likely an LCD. It has a teardrop notch that houses a 5MP selfie camera. The control layout... |
New Unisoc chipset vulnerability could allow remote denial of network services Posted: 04 Jun 2022 12:00 PM PDT Check Point Research, a cyber security research firm has recently published its findings on a new vulnerability discovered in the baseband processor of Unisoc chipsets. Simply put, the vulnerability affects the network modem that is part of the chipset and responsible for network connectivity. It could theoretically allow an attacker to send a corrupted network packet and disable or interrupt the device's network connectivity. As far as we know, that's the extent to which the vulnerability can be used so far. We also can't be sure just how many Unisoc chipsets are susceptible to... |

Vivo was originally supposed to unveil the phone on May 23, which was then pushed forward to June 6 due to force majeure causes. Now a new social post on Weibo pushes the event forward once again to an undetermined date and time. vivo T2 announcement postponed We can't really think of a good reason why vivo keeps delaying the launch, especially since the vivo T2 isn't an entirely new device but rather a... |
