The OnePlus Nord CE now shipping in Europe, don't miss our video review Posted: 21 Jun 2021 07:29 AM PDT The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is now available in Europe and can be bought from your local OnePlus.com website. The stores only carry the 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB versions, which cost €330/£300 and €400/£370, respectively. The cheapest version, the €300 6/128 GB model, is listed as "not available" (or not listed at all in the case of the UK and Irish sites), so that is probably coming at a later date. Meanwhile, you can check out our Nord CE text review to see how it stacks up against similarly-priced competition. Or watch our OnePlus Nord CE 5G video review below, which we've just... |

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra pops up on Geekbench running Android 12 Posted: 21 Jun 2021 05:49 AM PDT The Mi 11 Ultra is a fairly recent release from Xiaomi and the phone initially launched with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 on top. No official information regarding the beta version of Android 12 has been disclosed so it's interesting to see the handset making an appearance on Geekbench 5 with the latest Android OS. Mind you, this is the global version of the device given the model number listed on Geekbench - M2102K1G. This is probably the first sighting of the Mi 11 Ultra running Android 12 and suggests that Xiaomi will soon have more to share about the update. Perhaps an Android 12... |

Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition will actually be called M21 2021 Edition Posted: 21 Jun 2021 03:19 AM PDT A couple of weeks ago a "Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition" surfaced on the Samsung India website, but it appears that the company has had a change of heart when it comes to the naming. Or the phone will be sold under another name in other regions. We say this because the same model number, SM-M215G, appeared on the Google Play Console as the "Galaxy M21 2021 Edition". Unfortunately, for now it only appears on the supported devices list, which doesn't list any specs. The original Galaxy M21 was revealed over a year ago as a more affordable version of the M31 with the same 6.4" Super... |
AMD's RDNA 2-powered Exynos GPU 30% faster than current Mali GPU Posted: 21 Jun 2021 02:28 AM PDT According to a report from Korea, early testing shows that AMD's custom RDNA 2 graphics processor for Samsung's next Exynos chipset is showing up to 30% faster performance than the current Mali-G78, found in the Galaxy S21 Ultra with the Exynos 2100. If we take into account that the next generation Mali-G710 promises a 20% increase in performance, then the RDNA 2-powered Exynos chip would still offer better performance by about 10%. However, the report shares that the AMD developed graphics processor has a throttling issue and struggles to maintain its clock speed for long. The second... |

Top 10 trending phones of week 24 Posted: 20 Jun 2021 06:33 PM PDT The OnePlus Nord CE only lasted a week on top of our trending chart and this time around the Redmi Note 10 Pro has regained its leading position.
