Weekly poll results: the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) is the clear fan favorite from the family

Posted: 14 Mar 2021 07:07 AM PDT

Despite Xiaomi's confusing naming scheme last week's poll has a clear result – the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) is the only phone in the series worth having. The global variant has a massive lead over the other models, actually, all other Note 10 phones fall under the negative option. There is a modicum of interest in the Redmi Note 10 5G, but not enough to clear the "none of the above" bar. As the rollout of next-generation networks continues worldwide, the demand for affordable 5G phones should go up. So, the Note 10 5G will not come out swinging, but it could find an audience later...

Back in December, Motorola made a commitment to update quite a few of its devices to Android 11. Both the Moto G8 and the G8 Power were on said list. However, we still don't have a timeframe for any of the devices on there and it's good to see that Motorola has started covering some ground. Well, technically, the Moto G Pro already started the update cycle back in January, but not much else has happened since. There is an official Motorola update portal you can use to check on progress for other devices. Motorola Moto G8 and G8 Power Android 11 OTA Anyway, The Moto G8 and G8...

Motorola Moto G10 in for review

Posted: 13 Mar 2021 04:11 PM PST

The Motorola Moto G10 has arrived at our office and it has some tough questions to answer. It seems rather pricey for a phone with a 720p+ display and a Snapdragon 460 chipset. Things look even worse when you notice that the Moto G10 Power is cheaper. Okay, that's not entirely correct. The Power model is available only in India right now, the vanilla G10 is available only in Europe. So, a direct price comparison is not possible, but the gap is pretty large – the vanilla model is €150, the Power is INR 10,000, which works out to €115 or so. At worst these phones cost the same after EU...

Rumors of an upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite have been abundant as of late. The phone has even already visited a few notable certification authorities, which is how we know that it should go by the M2101K9AG model number. Just recently, a very-similar M2101K9C Xiaomi handset was listed on TENAA, which is most-likely the Mi 11 Lite, as well. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite on TENAA Unfortunately, as of writing this, the TENAA certification lacks its usual set of device photos. It does still offer-up some info, like a 6.55-inch display diagonal on what previous rumors claim will be a 90Hz or...

According to Oppo's rollout schedule announced earlier this month, the F15 was supposed to get the Android 11 stable update in India starting March 17. But some users have already received the latest version of Android, indicating Oppo has started seeding the update to a limited number of users, and a broader rollout will commence in a few...
