Realme 7 also spotted in live unboxing shots, complete with basic specs Posted: 29 Aug 2020 07:30 AM PDT Realme really isn't making it easy to follow its upcoming announcements. Thus far, we know for a fact that a September 1 event will be held in China, to unveil the Realme X7, Realme X7 Pro and likely a third "Special Version", expected to depute the Snapdragon 860 chipset. Following that, an India event, set for September 3, is expected to launch the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. Two devices, that were originally thought to be simple re-brands on the X7 series, but are increasingly shaping-up as their own thing. Realme 7 hands-on In a new set of shots, taken from a now... |
Live Realme X7 Pro box shots surface, price and specs in toll Posted: 29 Aug 2020 05:30 AM PDT Realme is expected to drop its new X7 family of phones on September 1. Leaks and rumors have been flying all over the place, but as far as we currently know, there are a total of three handsets to expect. A vanilla Realme X7, allegedly sporting a big bold "DARE TO LEAP" text on the back, a Realme X7 Pro and potentially a third "Special Version", expected to depute the Snapdragon 860 chipset. Realme X7 Pro retail box and price The middle-child "Pro" variant has definitely been the most widely-leaked of the three and this new development is no exception. We now have a few... |
Asus might be working on four budget smartphones Posted: 29 Aug 2020 03:30 AM PDT After Asus CEO Jerry Shen resigned back at the end of 2018, the company started to slightly shift focus away from the budget smartphone segment, focusing squarely on flagships and the gaming ROG lineup. While cheaper models, like the ZenFone Live (L2), have been trickling-out onto the market, until as late as April last year, these don't come anywhere near the popularity of the company's last budget hit – The ZenFone Max Pro (M2). According to a new leak, things might change soon, as Asus is currently working on four devices, with chipsets codenamed "Lito", "Lagoon", "Bengal", and "Scuba".... |
Alleged pricing for Galaxy S20 FE 5G in Canada leaks Posted: 29 Aug 2020 12:55 AM PDT The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE leaked in a 360-degree video last week. The Galaxy S20 FE isn't exactly a rebranded S20, it's meant to be a successor to the Galaxy S10 Lite. It was previously reported that the Galaxy S20 FE would arrive in six different color options and in both 4G and 5G variants. The latest report from DealNTech shows leaked pricing for the S20 FE 5G in Canadian Dollars. A database revealed a price of CAD 1,148.65 for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. This converts to roughly USD 876 but we might see an even lower price, should this device make it to the US market. The listed... |
AT&T Moto Razr 2020 diagram leaks Posted: 28 Aug 2020 10:37 PM PDT The 2020 Moto Razr is coming and the latest leak comes from none other than @evleaks. We've already seen the Moto Razr 2020 leak a few times and the latest leak doesn't reveal any new information. A labeled diagram of the phone has surfaced, likely from the AT&T branded phone's user manual. The power key is shown on the upper left side of the phone with the volume buttons on the upper right side. The fingerprint sensor remains roughly in the same place – though this time the Moto batwing logo will be the scanner. The first images of the 2020 Razr came in late July when we saw... |
LG's crazy Wing dual rotating screen smartphone to cost around $1,000, new video out Posted: 28 Aug 2020 08:33 PM PDT A couple of days ago a leaked hands-on video showed the upcoming LG Wing in action for a few seconds, with its weird T shape and rotating form factor. Today, a new video is out, this time showing us what gaming will be like on this unique device. The Wing has a main screen that rotates into landscape mode to reveal a smaller secondary panel under it and create that T shape. The main display is rumored to be 6.8", while the smaller one is around 4". According to an unnamed source, the Wing will be priced at around $1,000 when it launches in the US this fall. Verizon may be one of the... |
Cheaper Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Lite is headed to India Posted: 28 Aug 2020 06:25 PM PDT Samsung has long been rumored to expand its foldable smartphone line even more, with a more affordable device to complement the Z Fold2 in a similar form factor. We'll call this Galaxy Z Fold Lite for now, although that name is just an assumption on our part. This phone has so far been rumored to sport the model number SM-F415F, which makes sense because in Samsung's naming scheme, the first "F" stands for "foldable", while the low number implies this will be lower-end (and lower priced) than the original Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Z Fold 2. This model number has now been spotted among... |
New Huawei Mate 30 Pro variant passes by TENAA Posted: 28 Aug 2020 03:59 PM PDT The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been around for nearly a year now but it seems we're in for a refreshed version. A new listing on Chinese regulatory body TENAA reveals the alleged Mate 30 Pro "New Variant" bearing the LIO-AN00m model number. The phone event boasts the same dimensions as the Mate 30 Pro, coming in at 158.1 x 73.1 x 8.8 mm. There's a 6.53-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution just like on the normal Mate 30 Pro as well as the Kirin 990 chipset alongside 6/8/12 GB RAM and 128/256/512GB storage. Huawei Mate 30 Pro "New Edition" Then we get to the cameras where the... |

The Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro feature Nokia OZO Audio processing Posted: 28 Aug 2020 01:22 PM PDT The new Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro have three microphones to capture sound and advanced features in the camera app – but this isn't just any audio, it's Nokia's OZO Audio. The simplest use case is to turn on the Wind Filter, which suppresses wind noise thus clearing up the audio. Mic Focus allows the microphones to follow the camera's zoom and home in on a particular sound source. Zenfone 7 audio features powered by Nokia OZO: Wind Filter and Mic Focus You can also use Acoustic Focus if you want to control the directionality of the microphones separately from the zoom (this is... |
Sony Xperia 5 II leaked promo video reveals the device in full Posted: 28 Aug 2020 12:07 PM PDT Just a day after the massive Sony Xperia 5 II leak yesterday, Android Headlines managed to snatch a promo video of the upcoming device and it looks quite legitimate. The promo video shows the Xperia 5 II from all angles solidifying the renders we've already seen. And, of course, it looks more like its predecessor than the Xperia 1 II due to the rounded edges. We can once again see the mysterious button positioned right next to the power button and the volume rocker and the return of the 3.5mm audio jack. |

Apple settles over Powerbeats 2 design defect, will pay $9.75 million Posted: 28 Aug 2020 09:28 AM PDT Apple just agreed to settle the dispute over a design flaw plaguing the Powerbeats 2 headphones outside of court. The company didn't admit that there was indeed an issue with the 2014 Powerbeats 2 but it said it's easier and cheaper to settle without having to go to court. As a result, Apple has agreed to pay out $9.75 million. Apple marketed the headphones as sweat and water-resistant and built to "endure". Customers claim that this isn't exactly the case and the buds would stop holding a charge after "minimal use". So if you bought a pair of Powerbeats 2 before August 7 and you... |
