The Zenfone 6 from last year was pretty capable too, but it had issues translating that into sales. Can the new generation do better? Let's start with the roomy 6.67" AMOLED display from Samsung with 90 Hz refresh rate, high brightness and excellent color accuracy. But the arrival of 3G networks meant that not just any camera would do – a core feature of 3G was the native video calls. Barely anyone did that, but we got some interesting phones out of it. | Weekly poll results: under-display cameras are exciting, never mind potential downsides Posted: 29 Aug 2020 08:14 PM PDT  Last week's poll shows that the image quality of selfies is not a priority – instead most people prefer a sleek-looking, waterproof phone. 75% of voters were in favor of under-display cameras while only 25% preferred the flip-up design. Durability really proved to be a key concern, beyond just water resistance. Many are still not convinced that the flip-up mechanism will last the lifetime of the phone. These turned out to be a hidden gem, offering great audio quality and an amazing battery life. If you can live with the slightly bigger and heavier design, there really isn't much else to want out of the €90 MSPR buds. Well, apparently a Lite version is nearly ready for prime time, as evidenced by a grainy photo and a Bluetooth SIG certification document. A new and rather bountiful leak now adds a Watch GT 2 Pro to the list, as well. The Nokia 3.4, codenamed "Doctor Strange", will likely be among these, alongside the Nokia 2.4, known as "Wolverine".
