Its numbers are still amazing for a company that hasn't even had two full years in the market. | LG included Desktop mode with its Android 10 update Posted: 22 Jan 2020 04:13 AM PST For some reason LG kept this on the hush-hush, but its Android 10 update comes with a custom Desktop mode, similar to the ones offered by rivals Samsung and Huawei. This feature was discovered by Carlos Bagnell while browsing through his updated LG V50 ThinQ 5G. Android 10 has a Google implementation of Desktop mode, but it isn't particularly good. The LG version does a much better version of spanning large displays (though it is itself in need of some polish). Check out Carlos' demo below: Watch #SGGQA 130: FBI iPhone Unlocking, EU Charge Cables, Android 10 on the LG V50 from... |

| Sticker shock: Samsung Galaxy S20 5G lineup pricing revealed Posted: 21 Jan 2020 11:02 AM PST The Samsung Galaxy S20 trio will be pricey, especially in its 5G incarnation. The first info on price comes courtesy of Max Weinbach, who is behind the recent torrent of S20 leaks. The (somewhat) good news is that the 4G versions will be cheaper. If you're getting a 4G model, subtract 100 from the price. It's not clear whether you'll have a choice, though, countries where 5G networks are already live may only get the 5G models. Also, the price ranges represent uncertainty and not storage options - this is how much the phones with base storage are expected to cost. Phone ... |

The website listed the Galaxy S20+ with model number SM-G985F, which is different from the SM-G986F model number that belongs to the 5G variant. The same goes for the Galaxy S20 as well - the 5G model is SM-G981F while the LTE counterpart is SM-G980F. Perhaps Samsung will sell its LTE models to markets where 5G rollout isn't up to speed to keep the prices more competitive. But for the US and Korean market,... |
