Oppo Find X2's sensor specs leak, will output 48 MP images

Sony is expected to launch a couple of camera sensors in the upcoming weeks, and the most impressive of them appears to be named IMX708. It will produce 48 MP images and should have omnidirectional focusing technology, that is an upgrade over the Dual Pixel AF used in many of today's flagships. The rumor comes from a well-known Chinese leakster, who also revealed we should expect IMX686 to arrive as an upgrade over the IMX586 and a sensor called IMX616 for front-facing shots. Huawei is working to deliver a 5G phone at an about CNY 1028 (around $150) price by this year's end, or early next year. At the moment the cheapest 5G phone costs CNY 2,000 (around $290) but most command a price of CNY 3,000 (~$430) or higher, so a phone for around CNY 1,000 would enable a lot more people to experience 5G. Gartner: 2020 will see more smartphone sales, 5G to grow immensely by 2022

Gartner forecasts that smartphone shipments will see their first increase in a while in 2020. The numbers promise a 1.7% growth in phone shipments in 2020 compared to 2019, which saw a 2% decline over 2018. Gartner expects the growth to come mainly from Greater China and emerging markets in Asia/Pacific. Today Samsung brought its Galaxy Note10 Lite to India. The cheaper alternative of the Galaxy Note10 flagship comes with a year-old Exynos 9810 chipset and a price tag of INR38,999, which is equal to $547.
