So anyone looking forward to the release will be glad to see the prices ahead of the launch in August. According to Dealntech, the Galaxy Watch5 will be slightly cheaper than its predecessor. The Watch5 40mm (BT only version) will go for €259 while the 44mm flavor will ask €286. However, there's more to it than just added support for 5G connectivity. For starters, the new X8 5G has a smaller 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 720 x 1600px resolution. The Snapdragon 680 SoC has been swapped out for a Snapdragon 480+, which strangely is a more powerful alternative, despite its older manufacturing process and lower clock speeds. Customer data of "approximately 76.6 million U.S. residents identified by T-Mobile" was compromised as per the court filing on Friday. It will be joined at the same event by the Edge X30 Pro. The launch is happening in China, but the X30 Pro has long been rumored to launch elsewhere, rebranded as Edge 30 Ultra.
