The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is the enhanced version of the regular 4G-only A52 and we've spent some time with it to tell you what you can expect prior to our full review. The build and overall design between the two models are identical. Even the color options are the same with our review unit sporting the catchy pastel violet shade. Samsung did provide a nicer 120Hz Super AMOLED screen this time around and you also get the more powerful Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset inside. The rest of the specs remain unchanged from the 4G-enabled Galaxy A52 with a 4,500 mAh battery and...

Posted: 06 Aug 2021 05:17 AM PDT

We're five days away from the Galaxy Unpacked event that will bring the next generation foldables and while we wait rumors have painted a complete picture of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, Samsung's premiere phone for 2021. Especially given the absence of a new Note. As we've heard many times in the past, the new Fold will support the S Pen. Additional screen details and more are now reported by WinFuture. Posted: 06 Aug 2021 04:13 AM PDT

Last month we did a hands-on review of the Mony Mint, an Android 9 device that introduces itself as the smallest 4G smartphone, and it may be just the right tool for the job. The Mint can be your travel companion, it supports 4G networks from around the world. You still have the option of Skype/WhatsApp/Viber/etc. voice calls over Wi-Fi if you can't find a SIM card with cheap calling abroad. This is a dual-SIM phone too, which is...

The Samsung Galaxy A52s may not be getting a telephoto camera after all

Posted: 06 Aug 2021 02:19 AM PDT

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G will bring a more powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 778G (we have Geekbench results as proof). This is quite a step up from the Snapdragon 750G in the A52 5G and the 720G in the vanilla A52. Despite hopes of additional changes, however, this may be the only upgrade on the "s" model. The A52s will have the same 64 + 12 + 5 + 5 MP setup as its two siblings, say sources talking to GalaxyClub. Previously, there was talk that the "s" model will adopt a camera setup similar to the Galaxy A72, which has a 3x telephoto lens. That is not happening, it seems....

Posted: 05 Aug 2021 03:38 PM PDT

The upcoming Pixel 5a has surfaced a bunch of times so far, including when Google had to rebuke a report that said this device was cancelled. The company said it's not and it would arrive "later this year". Today a new rumor tells us what that actually means, and apparently the affordable smartphone is due to launch on August 26.
