We're a bit baffled by the naming choice here, this definitely can't in any way be a straight-up successor of a phone from four years ago, so then why not use some other numbers? Alas, it is what it is. Oh, just what is it, you ask? Most likely, a direct successor to the Y52s from last year in fact. The vivo Y53s 5G is a new smartphone that has a 6.58-inch 90 Hz FHD+ IPS LCD touchscreen, the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset at the helm, aided by 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of... |

Sony WF-1000XM4 are smaller, support LDAC and have better noise cancellation Posted: 08 Jun 2021 09:01 AM PDT Sony's latest pair of TWS buds, the WF-1000XM4, are here and improve on their predecessors across the board. Part of that is thanks to the more capable Sony V1 chip, but the buds themselves have a better construction, which enables better audio quality and improved noise cancellation. These are the first TWS buds in the wold to support Hi-Res audio over the LDAC codec (or so Sony claims). LDAC carries up to 3x the amount of data compared to typical Bluetooth audio. The DSEE Extreme feature uses AI to reconstruct compressed audio to something with "close to Hi-Res quality". 360 Reality... |
