Honor patents Magic Flip, Fold and Flex names as it looks to join the foldable race Posted: 23 Jun 2021 06:14 AM PDT Honor is proudly going forward as an independent company, and last week we saw the first flagship series since the company separated from Huawei. It is also moving towards foldable devices after patenting at least three names - Magic Flip, Magic Fold, Magic Flex. The trade names does not necessarily mean Honor will launch three phones, nor they give a specific timeline of a potential foldable arrival. However, the company is certainly evaluating its options and it seems reasonable to expect from it to to adopt the new form factor sooner rather than later. The patent list also... |

The S20/S21 cameras featured a main 12 MP module with large pixels and a 64 MP module for zooming in. With its 6.67-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, the Red Magic 6R is in the upper echelon of the refresh rate game but still falls short of its predecessor's 165Hz panel. It's still an excellent panel with good colors which goes up to 770 nits of brightness. The 6R's design is a definitely more subtle than previous Red Magic phones with a glass... |

Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra camera lag fixing update arrives in the US Posted: 22 Jun 2021 05:49 PM PDT Lately Samsung has been incredibly good with sending out security updates on time for its flagships, sometimes even before Google does. This month, however, things have been different, and it's only now that the June security patches are headed to the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra units sold in the US. The delay has to do with Samsung working overtime in fixing some camera lag issues that had been widely reported right before the update was initially supposed to come out. While the company hasn't outright said that it decided to also incorporate the lag fixes in the June update, that's... |
