ITHome cited analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in a report, which claimed that Huawei is "very likely" to sell the Honor brand. The justification for this is clear – under new ownership Honor will not be subject to the trade bans enforced by the US. Smartphone image sensor market grows 15%, Sony remains on top

Despite the economic impact of the pandemic, the smartphone image sensor market saw a growth of 15% year over year in the first half of 2020, reports Strategy Analytics. Samsung's earnings guidance report for the July - September period is out and the Korean tech giant is expecting huge profits. According to estimates, Samsung posted KRW 66 trillion ($57 billion) in consolidated sales and KRW 12.3 trillion ($10.6 billion) in operating profits.
