| Samsung Galaxy S11+ may come with a custom 108MP sensor Posted: 09 Dec 2019 07:50 AM PST So far, only a couple of smartphones with Samsung's new 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX have come out and all of them from Xiaomi. And it's no secret anymore that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S11-lineup will most likely come equipped with the said sensor, but this is not entirely true, as it turns out. The Galaxy S11+ uses a 1 / 1.3-inch 108MP Samsung exclusive custom sensor, which is superior in quality to ISOCELL Bright HMX and has a high cost. Ice universe (@UniverseIce) December 8, 2019 According to a reputable Samsung leakster on Twitter, the Galaxy S11+ will come with an exclusive, custom... |
| OnePlus TV gets Netflix app and a redesigned remote Posted: 09 Dec 2019 06:50 AM PST OnePlus has good news for prospective buyers of its new television. The first one is that the TV now finally comes with the Netflix app pre-installed. This was one of our complaints when we reviewed the television back in October and we are glad to see it being resolved. However, the lack of Netflix was nothing compared to the atrocity that was the remote control design. But in a completely unexpected move, OnePlus has decided to redesign the remote from scratch and offer it as replacement to current owners. The previous remote had multiple issues with it; the body was too small... |

Sadly, further development and launch are on hold, after an announcement from the Project Manager of the UI department at vivo. The executive took it to Weibo where he announced that "after continuous discussion" between the teams at the vivo HQ, the team eventually decided to suspend the renaming plan. A new version of FuntouchOS will be revealed on December 16, when the vivo X30 series will be announced. The machine-translated... |
| Sony Xperia 3 may have been spotted at Geekbench with S865 chipset, 12GB of RAM Posted: 09 Dec 2019 05:00 AM PST There have been some rumors about a Sony Xperia 3, an upcoming flagship for 2020. Now, it may have been spotted in Geekbench, showing a Snapdragon 865 chipset and 12GB of RAM. The chipset has been mentioned before in rumors, so it was expected in away. The RAM, however, is twice as much as the Xperia 1 has. Geekbench 4 reports the motherboard as "Kona", the code name for the Snapdragon 865 chip. It also shows the phone running Android 10. | Prices of Galaxy S10 lite, Note10 lite, Galaxy A71 and A51 appear on online retailer Posted: 09 Dec 2019 04:25 AM PST The Samsung Galaxy A (2020) phones will be unveiled this Thursday, but a Slovakian retailer couldn't wait this long and put up pages for the Galaxy A51 through A91. The pages were clearly placeholders, though someone forgot to hide the prices. The Samsung Galaxy A91 is rumored to sell under the name "Galaxy S10 lite" in some markets. It will be the priciest of the bunch, at 670 it's practically in flagship territory (then the S-series branding makes sense). The Galaxy A81 - aka Galaxy Note10 lite - will cost a tad more at 610. It's not exactly cheap, but it will be the most affordable... |
