The newest member of the family, the Motorola One Hyper, brings Moto's first 64MP sensor and its first pop-up selfie camera. The pop-up houses a 32MP sensor, topping previous 25MP selfie cams in the Motorola range. This is a Quad Bayer sensor, which enables the Night Vision feature to shoot brighter images in the dark. Cautiously, because they want to check out the reviews first, before parting with their money (always a smart thing). There are some lingering questions - for example, the LCD screen was seen as a "pro" by some and as a "con" by others. We guess it will come down to whether Honor managed to secure a good quality panel. There was also talk about the camera - while Mate 30 Pro's 40MP ultrawide camera is missing, V30's ultrawide... |

There was a promising new OS on the horizon poised to replace it, unfortunately it powered only one phone in its short existence - Nokia N9. Development of Symbian and Linux-based OSes was scrapped so that the company could focus on its upcoming Lumia line (powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone OS). | Google Glass Explorer Edition gets final software update and that's the end of it Posted: 07 Dec 2019 12:40 PM PST  Google Glass Explorer Edition has been living on life support since the company stopped producing the super-expensive sci-fi-looking wearable in 2015, barely getting any updates. Unsurprisingly then, Google is now going to be pulling the plug entirely this coming February. The last software update that's just been released is in preparation for that. This final update needs to be installed manually (Google provides detailed instructions) and removes the Glass' connection to backend services as well as the ability of the device to use your Google account - so no Gmail, YouTube and such on... |

Listed at the local Nokia website, the phone has its price set at RUB 7,990, or the equivalent of $125. You get to choose between all three color schemes - Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal. While the listing does specify delivery time estimates to different parts of the country, it doesn't say when the phone will actually be available for dispatch. | Honor begins recruitment for 9X and 9X Pro Android 10-based EMUI 10 beta Posted: 07 Dec 2019 09:20 AM PST  Honor has begun EMUI 10 beta recruitment for the 9X (HLK-AL00) and 9X Pro (HLK-AL10) in China. The company is looking for 500 users of the log version and 1500 users of the non-log version (head here to know what it means) for its beta program. Those interested have until December 15, 2019 to register. However, your devices are required to run EMUI with version number 9.1.1.160(C00E160R6P2/R5P3/R3P5) or above to be eligible for the EMUI 10 beta program.
