It was matched by the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro since, but now it was finally outdid. The new cameraphone king according to DxOMark, is the 5G version of the handset with an overall score of 123 points, two more than the standard model. It's important to note, however, that the two phones feature identical hardware (except for the chipsets) so one would wonder so the difference is down software optimization. Some details are still missing, though, most importantly the price. The phone is built around a 5.7" Infinity-V display, meaning that the 5MP selfie camera lives in a notch. The display has an LCD panel with 720p+ resolution and rounded corners. Around the back there's a 13MP main camera and its 2MP depth sensor. Now, a new set of screen guards have been leaked by reliable tipster Ice universe, which reveal the super-slim bezels on the vanilla S11 as well as the Plus variant. However, a Samsung team at the IEDM 2019 conference presented a technology promising 144MP image sensors based around 14nm FinFET process. The main challenge is that image sensors need to work at a relatively high voltage (2V and up) and all chipset designers aim for the lowest possible voltage (as that reduces power consumption and heat).
