Nokia's new midranger will set buyers back $349 and will ship starting September 30. The phone will come in its unlocked single-SIM variant complete with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Nokia 7.2 brings a 6.3-inch FHD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch for the 20 MP selfie cam. The most interesting component is the pop-up selfie, but the phone contains a few surprises too. Interestingly, there were rubber seals around every opening, including the pop-up camera. Officially, the K20 Pro lacks any water resistance, it's not even splash proof. The start won't be glamorous, but the plan for next year is to leverage HTC's expertise in VR and 5G networks to help its smartphones stand apart from the competition. Darren Chen, President of HTC Taiwan, notes that two thirds of the local market is made up of phones under the NTD 10,000 mark (that's about $320). At the end of the event the company VP Brian Shen actually revealed a new phone is incoming, called Reno Ace. It appears that Sony heard our prayers and decided to release another compact flagship even if the new member to the family doesn't have "Compact" in its name. While the new naming scheme might not immediately give it away the Xperia 5 is actually a minimized Xperia 1. It's rocking the same high-end hardware and design.
