It's scheduled to ship in early October in Europe and a month later in the US. Sony's official online store in France is asking €800 for the phone. The first units will ship on November 2. There's a big pre-order bonus too - a free pair of WF-1000XM3 truly wireless noise-canceling earbuds worth €250. As most of you know, Foxconn is Apple's iPhone manufacturer, so the Cupertino-based company has run an investigation of its own and admitted that some of the allegations are true, but not all. The biggest issue stated in the report that 50% of Foxconn's workforce is made up of temporary labor while the Chinese law says it can only go up to 10%. Apple said it's working closely with Foxconn to resolve the matter, but any sudden changes to the work schedule could affect this year's iPhones...

Leaked Pixel 4 ad focuses on hand gestures and Google Assistant, not the tele camera

Posted: 09 Sep 2019 12:30 PM PDT

An ad for the Pixel 4 has leaked and it shows what it means for a phone to be designed "the Google way". It seems that Google doesn't want you touching your phone to use it - not when you have Project Soli's hand gestures and the voice commands of the revamped Assistant. That's the first half of the ad. The second half is about the camera. You can see the new triple cam on the back of the white Pixel 4, but interestingly the ad focuses on the low-light performance - something Google aced a couple of years ago. There's no mention of the new telephoto camera. There's nothing on the 90Hz...

An 8MP ultrawide-angle camera (120°, f/2.2 lens) is joining the two modules from the A20 - namely, the 13MP main cam (f/1.9) and a 5MP depth sensor. The 8MP selfie camera remains unchanged. Posted: 09 Sep 2019 09:30 AM PDT

We came across a big Mi Mix 4 leak last week with plenty of details surrounding the phone - from camera specs to memory configurations and software features. However, the report left out a few interesting details. A post on Weibo came out today reporting that the Mi Mix 4 will get a 90Hz refresh rate display and 40W fast charging. And to retain the full-screen design from the previous Mi Mix generations, the newest addition to the family will resort to the pop-up camera mechanism for its front shooter. However, we wouldn't suggest you fully trust this information because the source...
