Unfortunately, the rumor didn't go as far as mentioning the price. The Mi A2 launched on August 8 last year as an Amazon exclusive. It cost INR 17,500, which was slightly below its European price (250). This model is currently super cheap - just INR 10,000 for the 4/64GB model. The Xiaomi Mi A3 costs 250 again, so the launch price in India should be about the same as last year. Which is an issue as the old model... |

Apple to pay up to $1 million for finding critical security flaws in its devices Posted: 09 Aug 2019 06:00 AM PDT During this year's Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas, Apple announced that it will give up to $1 million to anyone who finds a critical security flaw in its software. That's the highest bounty a company has ever offered. Of course, the $1 million bounty only applies to a specific case in which the attacker has to access the iPhone kernel without the need of any action from the user. The highest bounty Apple has offered before that is $200,000 for friendly reports of bugs. All security researchers are welcome to submit their reports and Apple also wants to make things easier... |

The device that the alleged SD865 is being tested on has Android Q and 6 GB RAM, but this is probably just a testing platform and not an actual smartphone. That's a question you could ask Samsung's virtual assistant, but you probably won't hear the words Galaxy Home in response. And that may or may not be okay with you, but the thing is, the Galaxy Home smart speaker was announced one full year ago, and it's still nowhere to be seen in stores. At the time of its unveiling, no one knew the time would come for it to race Half-Life 3 to store shelves, but here we are. For what it's worth, Samsung is promising that the device isn't dead. It's still coming. It's still being refined. Will it age as well... |

Apple now partially blocks third party battery replacements on iPhones Posted: 08 Aug 2019 02:59 PM PDT It's been talked about for a while now and Apple is finally doing it. If you try to replace your iPhone XS, XS Max or XR battery with a non-official Apple battery or even an original battery at a third-party repair center, the you will get an error message. The message says that the iPhone can't verify if the battery is original or not so it won't give you information about the battery's health. This means that you can still use your phone and the battery's functionality won't be limited in any way but you won't be able to see when it's due for a replacement. The guys over at The... |
