Both the Google Pixel 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note10 leaked in renders. It's high summer now but we're already getting a fairly good idea of the Fall flagships and these two are among the most anticipated. The Google Pixel 4 renders are based on rumors so their accuracy might not be the best, but they do give a shape to the leaks and that shape is polarizing. Posted: 14 Jul 2019 03:42 AM PDT  According to a study conducted by Merrill Lynch Global Research a few months ago, a whopping 70% of iPhone owners intend to get another iPhone when it comes time to buy a new phone. Huawei was a distant second, with 54% of owners saying they'll stick with the brand. Samsung barely missed out on second place with 53%. Here's a table showing brand loyalty, the green cells are the percentage of people that will buy the same brand again. There's an interesting stat if we look at the 20 phones in the list below. Nokia is represented by the Nokia 9 PureView, Oppo has the F11 Pro in the list, Huawei has the entire P30 lineup, Xiaomi has 5 phones and Samsung has an unprecedented 10 phones among the 20 most popular. However, last week's poll shows that our readers had no trouble figuring out the new CC9 series. Long story short, one is great and the other is a tough sell. Two out of three people are in favor of the Xiaomi Mi CC9. That's a very positive result considering this model is up against the Redmi K20, which proved extremely popular in a poll a month ago. | Huawei's filed for another trademark for an OS - Harmony Posted: 13 Jul 2019 01:55 PM PDT  Huawei has filed a trademark application with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, attempting to register the name Harmony for an operating system for mobile and computer use. The application is dated July 12, 2019, and is currently under examination. | Facebook to settle FTC probe for $5 billion, pending Justice Department approval Posted: 13 Jul 2019 11:55 AM PDT  Facebook and the US Federal Trade Commission have agreed to a $5 billion settlement in the investigation over the social network's questionable practices in handling user data.
