NFC certification for LG's Rollable phone surfaces online Posted: 17 Apr 2021 07:00 AM PDT Before anyone gets unnecessarily excited - NO, LG hasn't gone back on its decision to leave the smartphone business. At least not officially, that is. This is just another case of unfortunate timing surrounding the rollable phone that the company teased at CES 2021. Apparently the LM-R910N, as its official designation goes, was pretty far along in the development cycle. Enough for LG to start filing for various certifications for it to go to market. The NFC certification, as seen here, is dated January 5, at which point the Rollable or LM-R910VM, mentioned in the document in particular, was... |
Oppo A54 Indian prices leak ahead of April 19 launch Posted: 17 Apr 2021 05:00 AM PDT Oppo will launch two smartphones in India next week - the A54 on April 19 and the A74 5G a day later. Oppo confirmed that the A74 5G will be priced under INR20,000 ($270/€225) in the country but didn't hint at the pricing of the A54. However, a new report claims the smartphone will start at INR13,490 ($180/€150) and have three memory options. The base variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage onboard, and for INR1,000 ($13/€11) more, you'll get double storage. The third model, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, will cost INR15,990 ($215/€180). The Oppo A54, announced last month, is... |
Samsung Galaxy A22 4G pops-up at BIS India Posted: 17 Apr 2021 03:00 AM PDT Samsung has been working hard on flushing-out its popular Galaxy A lineup with the recent announcement of the Galaxy A72, A52 and A32. The trio can be had in both a vanilla 4G variety, as well as trendy and reasonably-priced 5G variant. It seems that the Korean giant is now planning to introduce an even cheaper A device in the Galaxy A22. Again, in both a 4G and a 5G version. Last we heard of such a model was way back in December last year, until a certain SM-A225F was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Fitbit Luxe appears in leaked images with stainless steel body and OLED screen Posted: 17 Apr 2021 12:50 AM PDT Fitbit announced the Ace 3 fitness band for kids last month, and the next smart band it will introduce is called Fitbit Luxe, which has appeared in images leaked by German blog WinFuture. The Fitbit Luxe has an elegant design and will have at least three color options. Its body is made of polished stainless steel, and its interchangeable straps will come with a buckle clasp we usually don't see on fitness trackers. The Luxe will pack a color OLED touchscreen of unknown resolution. We don't have the detailed specs of the wearable yet, however, the leaked pictures reveal the fitness... |

The Oppo Enco Buds succeed the Oppo Enco W11 and although they look identical in appearance and design, the new version will support the Bluetooth 5.2 standard. First look at the OPPO Enco Buds: https://t.co/wC9FQ2dPfB pic.twitter.com/F7UFdeW1S2— Evan Blass (@evleaks) April 16, 2021 The Enco Buds style is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds+, even down to the charging case. The renders show the TWS earbuds in white with an LED charging notification at the front... |
vivo V21 and V21e will be made official on April 27 Posted: 16 Apr 2021 06:48 PM PDT Earlier this month the vivo V21 got certified in Indonesia ahead of its launch, and then vivo's arm in Malaysia started teasing the phone outright on its official website. So it was pretty clear that a full unveiling was going to happen sooner, rather than later. That's been confirmed today, by vivo Malaysia's official Twitter account. The V21 will be made official on April 27 in the country, alongside a V21e. We were always expecting the V21 to be a family of devices and not just one phone, and this pretty much confirms that. According to a yet-unconfirmed report, the V21 should... |

We're talking about the Mi 11 Ultra, which will be offered in India with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. These two are said to be rebrands of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+, respectively (and we've already seen the K40 in other markets as the Poco F3, and the K40 Pro+ as the Mi 11i, because Xiaomi simply loves confusing the entire world about its product... |

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite shows up once again, this time in silver Posted: 16 Apr 2021 10:12 AM PDT We know that Samsung is planning to launch a new budget tablet called Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and we even had the chance to see it in renders along with key specs. Now, we get the chance to have a better look at the design and also see how the silver color suits it. Thanks to the brighter image, we get to see the bezels along with the front-facing camera and the earpiece grille more clearly. Moreover, it shows the side of the device and it appears that it will have a small camera bump. The volume rocker and the power button are on the right side with the latter positioned closer to the... |
