DJI Air 2S brings 1-inch sensor and 5.4K video for €999 Posted: 15 Apr 2021 08:17 AM PDT The Air 2S, DJI's successor to the popular Mavic Air 2 is here and it adds a lot of camera muscle at the same price. Note the omission of the Mavic branding in the DJI Air 2S name - just like with the mini 2, it brings a huge increase in sensor size and resolution. It's now a 20MP 1-inch CMOS with 2.4μm-sized individual pixels - compared to the 1/2-inch 48MP sensor on the Mavic Air 2 and its 0.8μm pixels. The DJI Air 2S can capture up to 5.4K (5472×3078px) footage at 24/25/30fps from the full width of the sensor, and 4K up to 60fps (compared to Mavic Air's 4K@30fps) at a slight crop.... |

That changes, allowing users of the 2020 flagship to use the embedded SIM card, rather than a physical one, or alternatively having a dual SIM setup by utilizing both. The Note20 Ultra became the first Samsung in North America with the feature, 2.5 years after the same was done for iPhones and Pixel devices. There are plenty of phones on the US market that technically have an eSIM on the inside, but aren't supported by the local carriers. Software... |

ZTE unveils Axon 30 Ultra with triple 64MP camera and periscope, Axon 30 Pro joins it Posted: 15 Apr 2021 05:47 AM PDT The Axon 30 Ultra arrives with a surprise – it will be sold in the US and Canada. We don't know when or for how much yet, but recent flagship launches from ZTE have steered clear from the North American market. The new model should be available in Europe too, as other Axons have been. There are two other models – the Axon 30 and Axon 30 Pro. Those aren't coming to North America, in fact, the vanilla model was barely mentioned at the presentation – all we know is that it will have an under display camera. The implication here is that the other two do not. ZTE Axon 30 Ultra The ZTE... |

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra flaunts IP68 rating in underwater unboxing Posted: 15 Apr 2021 03:06 AM PDT Xiaomi's Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra are the first with an official IP rating, so why not unbox the Ultra underwater? Xiaomi posted a video of a diver unboxing a fully-operational Mi 11 Ultra in a pool or a tank. T-Mobile used to do these unboxings for waterproof devices like the Samsung Galaxy phones back in the day. Outside of its IP68 rating for a depth of 1.5 meters for a duration of 30 minutes, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra packs the latest Snapdragon 888 chip, a 6.81-inch AMOLED of 1440p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery. Our befuddlement at the situation obviously isn't stopping the company from continuing its strategy, and thus we already have a rumor detailing the main specs of the Reno6 Pro, even though the Reno5 Pro only arrived in stores this January. Oppo Reno5 Pro The Reno6 Pro is supposedly going to have a... |
Lenovo Legion Duel 2 video teardown investigates why it bent so easily Posted: 14 Apr 2021 04:05 PM PDT Earlier this month, Lenovo made the Legion Duel 2 gaming smartphone official, and Zack from JerryRigEverything promptly decided to subject it to his now-trademark "durability test". The result was rather shocking, as the Duel 2 easily snapped in three parts during the bend test. Today Zack's back with a teardown video of the phone, hoping to see what on the inside explains the snapping in pieces. Before we get to that, though, the usual way of getting inside applies - heat plus razorblade. The back glass comes out in thirds, which isn't that surprising considering how the phone... |
