However, an unconfirmed rumor claims that it won't stay on 10 very long as the Android 11 update will be available shortly after the phone gets released (which will be in late October). The Xperia 1 II will allegedly receive the update at the same time. Previously, a rumor claimed that both Mark Two phones will be updated all the way to Android 13. Based on Apple's claims at the announcement we estimated it to have a 17% faster CPU and 8% better GPU than its predecessor and a newly surfaced benchmark shows these numbers are close enough. An AnTuTu benchmark run on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, reveals 16% higher CPU score and 4% better GPU result. It is driven by the Helio P22 with 3GB of RAM and the company has provided 32GB of internal storage with optional expansion via the microSD slot. The smartphone has a 13MP f/1.8 main cam, coupled with a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide-angle shooter with 120-degree FoV. On the front, hidden behind a waterdrop notch, is sitting another 5MP f/2.2 camera. Oculus announces the Quest 2 with higher resolution displays and 90Hz support Posted: 17 Sep 2020 05:29 AM PDT The standalone Oculus Quest headset just got a successor with improvements all around. It's more powerful, has better ergonomics, 50% more pixels on each display and supports 90Hz refresh rate. The device is built on Qualcomm's brand new Snapdragon XR2 platform paired with 6GB of RAM. The displays now offer 1832 x 1920px resolution per eye, which is around 50% more pixels than the original quest. Oculus doesn't say if the displays are OLED or LCD but we assume it's the latter.
