The main display also now incorporates Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) for improved image... |

ZTE Axon 20 5G arrives as the first phone with under-display camera Posted: 01 Sep 2020 05:44 AM PDT In the quest for full-screen smartphones, the selfie camera proved to be a persistent obstacle. Notches shrunk and we got punch holes, pop-up and flipping workarounds but it was only a matter of time before we got an under display solution. Several makers are working on the tech, but today ZTE introduced its Axon 20 5G - the first commercially-ready smartphone with an under-display selfie camera. Being the first of its kind brings plenty of bragging rights but also required a whole new approach to the screen assembly process. One of the big problems with past under-display cameras so... |
Pre-production iPhone 12 allegedly handled on video Posted: 01 Sep 2020 05:13 AM PDT The video bellow allegedly shows off someone handling the new iPhone 12, fresh out of its retail package. But how can we be sure that this isn't just the iPhone 11 Pro? And we don't mean this as an indictment of Apple's slow pace when it comes to its smartphone designs. The first thing that stands out are the flat sides – rumor has it that the 2020 generation of Apple phones will take a cue from the iPad Pros, which have squared off sides. The iPhone 11 generation has rounded sides. But rumors also claimed that the notch will be smaller and we're not seeing it. To be fair, it didn't look... |
