First vivo NEX 3s 5G teaser video focuses on the waterfall display Posted: 05 Mar 2020 08:17 AM PST The vivo NEX 3 5G will get a mid-season upgrade next week - the vivo NEX 3s 5G. The Google Play Console leaked some key specs showing that the "s" model will go up to a Snapdragon 865 chipset from 855+. However, vivo's first teaser for the phone focuses on the screen instead - or the "unbounded waterfall screen", as the marketing materials call it. It appears to be the same 6.89" Super AMOLED panel from the NEX 3 5G whose sides curve 80° before reaching the barely-visible metal frame. The NEX 3s 5G is expected to keep the other two cameras of the original phone (13MP with 2x...
The Oppo Find X2 Pro will have a better camera than the vanilla X2 Posted: 05 Mar 2020 07:33 AM PST Brian Shen just officially confirmed what we've known for a while - that there will be two flagships, Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. Better still, the Oppo VP described the differences between the two models. The Find X2 Pro will offer "extra image quality", suggesting a different camera setup. He adds that the non-Pro will use a new Sony IMX sensor that already offers improvements to the image quality over previous generation phones. Also, the vanilla Find X2 will have a smaller camera hump and the phone itself will be thinner. The extra bulk is the price that the X2 Pro has to pay for...
Moto G8 unveiled with 720p+ display, new triple camera and larger battery Posted: 05 Mar 2020 06:44 AM PST The Moto G8 family just gained another member - and it's the Moto G8 that arrives fashionably late to the gathering. Following the launch of the Play, Plus and Power we finally get the vanilla model. Last year, the G7 struck a fine balance between cost and capabilities, but the 2020 successor alters the formula significantly. The 6.4" display with 720p+ resolution marks a noticeable drop in pixel density (the G7 had a 6.2" 1080p+ display). The selfie camera still has an 8MP sensor (1.12µm pixels), but it's now inside a punch hole instead of a teardrop notch. Moto G8 in Capri...
