| Xiaomi seeds Android 10 to Mi A3, quickly pulls it back Posted: 02 Mar 2020 08:17 AM PST Xiaomi Mi A3 phones started receiving notifications during the weekend that an update to Android 10 is available. However, some early adopters reported that following its installattion the phone become unresponsive. Apparently the issues were somewhat widespread and later Xiaomi decided to pull back the update and is seeding only the security package, with the OS remaining Android Pie for now. Some users who have pre-ordered the Galaxy S20/S20+ have reported seeing a scheduled delivery date for Monday and Tuesday, instead of Friday, March 6. Keep in mind that the Galaxy S20 Ultra shipments remain scheduled for March 6 and could even be delivered after that date due to high demand. | Sony S20A with 5.45" screen certified by TENAA, but it's not a Compact Posted: 02 Mar 2020 06:39 AM PST Sony is working on a strange phone - it has a 5.45" display, so you may think that it's a new Compact version. But the dimensions of the phone don't match up with that. The Sony "S20A" measures 150.8 x 72.8 x 12.5mm, according to TENAA. For comparison, the Xperia XZ2 Compact (5" 16:9 screen) is much smaller at 135 x 65 x 12.1. A taller aspect ratio on the new model could account for the extra height, but the width suggests very thick bezels - the bezels of a low-cost phone. Interestingly, the battery capacity is 4,000mAh, which is fairly large by Xperia standards. The XZ Compact has a... |
| nubia Red Magic 5G coming on March 12, smashes AnTuTu record Posted: 02 Mar 2020 05:51 AM PST The nubia Red Magic 5G is expected to arrive with a 144Hz screen and today the company officially confirmed the launch date - the phone will debut on March 12. We already know the device will have Snapdragon 865 chipset, paired with 5G modem, and during the weekend we also learned it will have a game-changing cooling fan that will go as high as 15,000 rpm, according to official accounts on social media. Lowering the internal temperature allows hardware to perform even better and that's why the phone reached record-breaking score on AnTuTu - over 633,000. Ni Fei, CEO of nubia,... |
