IDC: Smartphone market expected to decline by 10.6% in H1 2020

The detrimental effects of the Coronavirus on the smartphone market will be felt throughout the year and as per the latest IDC projections could lead to a 10.6% decline in shipments for the first half of 2020. On a more long-term basis, the epidemic is expected to result in a 2.3% decline in global shipments for the entire calendar year.
