Apple invests $250 million into Corning to fund innovation for future products Posted: 18 Sep 2019 05:00 AM PDT While Apple didn't mention it during its presentation, the iPhone 11 trio uses Corning glass on both the front and the back - the "toughest glass ever in a smartphone", claims Apple. Corning has been supplying Apple with strengthened glass since the original iPhone and has done so for every new model since (every Apple Watch generation and most iPads too). Apple just announced that it's investing $250 million into Corning, so their partnership will go on for years to come. The money comes from Apple's Advanced Manufacturing Fund, which previously invested $200 million in Corning back in... |

The Nebula Blue of the 7 Pro is similar, but it has a glossy finish. OnePlus 7T Pro (leaked press image) Anyway, it's interesting to... |

vivo NEX 3 rules AnTuTu with record-breaking score Posted: 17 Sep 2019 11:10 AM PDT Yesterday vivo made the NEX 3 official, and while this phone's screen is probably what will get the most attention with its crazy curvature angle, it's also a beast when it comes to performance. That's because of the Snapdragon 855+ chipset it uses, of course, but we're also thinking vivo is using some secret sauce - maybe it's the hyped up vapor chamber that helps with cooling a lot. We say that because when we ran the AnTuTu benchmark on it, we got the best result ever - slightly topping the Asus ROG Phone II as you can see in the handy table below. The unit we used was the NEX 3 5G with... |

However, it seems they are not getting the "Certified" accreditation. You can find the full list of devices here. Note that the new iPhone 11 trio also features Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, but isn't on the Certified list yet. In case you missed it, Wi-Fi adopted a... |

It also improves the quality of photos and bumps up the Android security patch level on the XT to September 5, 2019. The Realme XT is powered by the... |
