OnePlus is all set to unveil the OnePlus 7 lineup on May 14, but that's not stopping the phone maker from releasing software updates for its older smartphones. OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta updates 31 and 29 for 5 and 5T, and updates 17 and 9 for 6 and 6T, respectively. All four of these builds are identical, with the only difference being an India-only intelligent file cleanup feature for the 6 and 6T. Report: Apple saw 30% decline in shipments in Q1 YoY, Huawei up 50%

A new report from IDC revealed some insight into the smartphone industry in terms of a number of shipments during the first quarter of 2019. Between January and March, a total of 310.8 million smartphones were shipped, which is a 6.6% decline year over year. In 2018, Q1 declined 4.1%; in 2017 - 3.5%. The decline is clearly getting steeper with every new year. The United States saw the worst decline with shipments dropping 15% on a yearly basis.
