Huawei plans to sell 5G modems to Apple

Posted: 09 Apr 2019 05:45 AM PDT

Now, the Chinese company is now "open" to delivering its in-house chips to one more company - Apple. This claim might sound strange, especially after claims from January that the platform would be used only on smart products part of the Huawei portfolio, including phones and other IoT technology. Yet, the manufacturer was probably open to such a deal as Apple phones run iOS and it doesn't feel them as direct rivals to its Android phones. Plus if...

Its holographic display faced issues and the different modules which were supposed to come in 2019 were simply scrapped off. And even with all those compromises, it took until today for the titanium version to go on sale. Those who pre-ordered two years ago will finally get their RED phones. Last year, users who pre-ordered the titanium version got an aluminum one instead...
